Leeds is a busy, vibrant city offering plenty to do and see in the centre but also providing a great link to the rest of West Yorkshire and other northern cities. For great food and shopping, stay close to the city centre, where you'll find a mixture of well-known shops and local boutiques. Drive the 24 miles via the A64 to York and instantly become immersed in its interesting and vibrant history.
