Nearby Harrogate

Longer drives

Alternatively, you can even get to Leeds, Manchester and Durham within a couple of hours in the car.

Hackfall Woods has its picturesque lakes and waterfalls, while the Scar House Reservoir is striking for its 55-metre height and the ruins of the temporary village that once housed the workers who built it.
