Where to go

When holidaying on an island like Menorca where public transport is lacking, hiring a car will really help you to explore the island. Whether you want to check out some beaches, enjoy the attractions of Mahon or Ciutadella, or partake in some outdoor activities like cycling or golf, having your own set of wheels will enable you to see different parts of the island.

Nearby Menorca Airport

The airport is within the city limits of both the capital Mahon and the old town of Ciutadella, giving passengers easy access to two of the island’s major attractions. The wonderful thing about staying on an island is you can get anywhere within one hour’s drive, including s'Albufera des Grau Natural Park - a stunning natural attraction.

Longer drives

While you can drive more or less anywhere on Menorca within an hour, this isn’t to say you can’t go further with a car. For holidaymakers who want to experience more, ferries are available from Menorca to fellow Balearic islands Mallorca and Majorca.

Things to do

Many people visiting Menorca will have chosen the destination for its array of beautiful 46 sandy beaches on which to enjoy the sunshine. Many of the beaches feature restaurants and lifeguards. There are also plenty of activities on the beaches such as windsurfing, fishing and sailing.
