Where to go

Tamworth Castle is the most notable building of antiquity, dating back to medieval times. Visitors can enjoy children's workshops and medieval enactments of falconry and jousting. Drayton Manor Park is another major attraction, featuring rides based on the popular TV series Thomas the Tank Engine and extensive parkland.

The castle and nearby Lichfield Cathedral are not the only fine sights to see. The area also has some beautiful riverside, with lots of walks along the Tame and Anker rivers. The area is also dotted with small lakes and naturally attracts lots of water fowl.
