Other than heading into central London, there is plenty to do while you're in Enfield. Take a break from the bustling city atmosphere by visiting the stunning Myddelton House Gardens. The eight acres of green space are stunning and ideal for a spring or summer day. Of course, you can also head to Chickenshed Theatre to catch a show or the Whitewebbs Museum of Transport.

Nearby Enfield

Around 30 minutes away via the A1 is the beautiful Welwyn garden City in Hertfordshire. The perfect English location to make the most of gorgeous green spaces, you can explore Sherrardspark Woods or enjoy the view at Digswell Park. On top of this, it is home to the interesting New Maynard gallery and iconic Coronation Fountain.

Longer drives

If you want to head further afield, drive just over an hour up the M1 to Cambridge. The famous university town is incredibly beautiful and has a lot to offer.
