Located on the opposite side of the island, Timanfaya National Park is a must-see for any visitor to Lanzarote. The volcanic landscape is breathtaking, and it is possible to take a coach trip around the park to see the volcanos and rare plants found there.

Lanzarote's unique landscape means there are many sites of natural beauty that are worth a visit. Jameos del Agua in the north of the island is part of the Atlantida volcanic cave system, and is home to a natural concert hall, restaurant, museum and subterranean lagoon.

The Cueva de los Verdes, or Green Caves, also at the northern tip of the island, are part of the same cave system, and 2 km stretch is open to the public to explore.
