Once you have the keys to your vehicle it’s time to start your trip and discover the hidden gems Lancashire has to offer. Located in the north-west of the UK, by heading to Lancashire’s centre you will find the city of Preston. Journey to the north and you will find Lancaster - the county town that boasts various ancient tales.

Should you decide to visit Preston it would be worth taking a trip to explore Preston Docks, enjoy a leisurely walk around Avenham and Miller Parks and admiring the great Ribble Steam Railway. If you’re after a bit of retail shopping then visit Miller Arcade. If it’s the nightlife you’re after, the city has various clubs and live music venues for you to enjoy.

Longer drives

Venture further afield via the M5 and M58 to Liverpool and you can explore the city most famously know as the birthplace of The Beatles.
