New Charity Partnership Announced

Holiday Autos are delighted to announce a new charity partnership with the Family Holiday Association.

The Family Holiday Association is the only UK-registered charity dedicated to helping struggling families create lifelong memories from quality leisure time spent together. In 2016 alone the charity helped over 5,000 families to enjoy a much-needed holiday within the UK.

In order to be eligible for these holidays the families need to be referred by someone already working with them in a supporting role, such as a teacher or social worker. These breaks are designed to give families an opportunity to spend time together in a new environment away from the stresses of everyday life.

The charity has helped over 120,000 families since they started in 1975. Feedback continually shows the huge positive benefits that children and their families gain from their break away from home: “The break meant such a lot to us after a traumatic difficult few years. For us all to be together in a lovely park was just what we needed.”

Speaking about the partnership Lauren Gourley said “At Holiday Autos, we’re aware that not every family is fortunate enough to be able to enjoy a holiday and this is why we have decided to work with the Family Holiday Association. We have been hugely impressed by the work they do helping struggling families enjoy a break from everyday stresses and we’re excited to help promote their valuable work this year”.

The Family Holiday Association Fundraising Manager Angie Watson added:
“We are so delighted that Holiday Autos has chosen the Family Holiday Association as their first national charity partner. We share an understanding of the importance and value of breaks away from home, escaping day to day troubles and creating happy memories. To be able to work together to enable families to have precious and often life-changing time away is fantastic”.
