Aberdeen Airport is the ideal destination to really appreciate everything that Scotland has on offer. Close to the coast and surrounded by plenty of atmospheric countryside, simply driving around is a good idea. Alternatively, you can visit one of the city's art galleries, brave the beach and try a dram or two of Scottish whisky.

For those who want to see how the Royal Family live, the A93 will take you to Balmoral Castle in around an hour and a half.
