The Anne Frank Museum can be a very moving place to visit. It is located in the house where she went into hiding with her family during the Second World War and draws on passages from her famous diary to build the story of her life. You could also hire a bike and cycle along Amsterdam's many canals for a quaint Dutch experience.
Few sights are more awe-inspiring than masterpieces of art and Amsterdam is home to several.
