Hannover Airport is just a 30 minute drive away from the city of Hanover, via the A352 and B6. Although the city is less famous than Hamburg or Bremen, it does not lack charm with it’s history dating back centuries. Here you can visit the grand Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen, or learn about the city’s culture at the Sprengel Museum.
For a slightly longer drive, you can venture north to Bremen, via the A27, which should take you just under two hours. Here you visit the Universum Science Center, take a stroll along the River Weser in the old town or admire Bremen’s cathedral. For a drive that will take you just under two hours via the A7, you can journey to Hamburg.

Like many cities across Germany, you will find an array of traditional dishes in Hanover and surrounding Hannover Airport.
