Nearby Antalya

A quarter of an hour away from the centre of Antalya is the iconic Hadrian's Gate. The only surviving gate in the stone walls designed to protect the city from invasion in 130 AD, it is a key part of the area's history and is incredibly beautiful. For a relaxed day out, drive 20 minutes down the coastal road to Duden Waterfalls.

Longer drives

Just over an hour away from Antalya via the D400 is the ancient port town of Side Belediyesi. The stunning location is famous for its long beaches that are ideal for sun worshippers, while it is also a haven for history buffs due to its collection of Greco-Roman ruins, including a second-century theatre. On top of this, there are lots of shopping opportunities and some great restaurants.

Eating and drinking
